Yesterday, Team Rent Responsibly gathered from our home offices across the globe for games, gifts, and reflections on the year – and we’ve had a lot to celebrate in 2023.
We launched the new RR Network BETA, a free and private digital community crafted exclusively for STR hosts and a member management software for alliances.
We published more than 100 articles, guides, checklists, templates, and other resources on RentResponsibly.org and inside the RR Network.
We launched a new suite of professional support services for alliances that leveled up our work with Arizonans for Responsible Tourism, Oahu STRA, and the Santa Fe STRA, and welcomed new alliances to the RR family: Vermont STRA; El Paso STRA; Estes Valley STRA; Fredericksburg, TX STRA; Property Owners Association of SC; and the Olympic Peninsula Lodging Alliance.
We worked with several alliances on their member growth, hitting a record 51 new members in one week and generating more than $160,000 for alliances throughout the year.
We hit major subscriber and social media follower milestones and set new records for event registrants (if you were one of them, thank you for joining!)
We deepened our commitment to sustainability by becoming a 1% for the Planet member, signing the Glasgow Declaration, and embarking on a 300-day team challenge.
Rent Responsibly would not have been able to accomplish these things without you, the STR community. Since our founding four years ago, you’ve shared with us the things that are important to you and told us where we can be helpful to you in your hosting, advocacy, and alliance-building. Our mission is to serve you, and we thank you for sharing your insights and leading the way in making STRs better and stronger every day.
